How Can I Enter?
You can enter ON THE DAY at one of four registration tables along the walking track.
What time does the event start?
The start of the walk extends from 10.00 am to 1:30pm.
Where are the registration tables?
1. The end of Carrak Road, at the start of the walking track near the boat ramp
2. Off Davistown Road at the start of the walking track
3. Beside the walking track near the playground at Broadwater Park.
What is the entry fee?
Entry is by donation
I want to enter into the walk, what do I do?
Complete your individual entry form & you will receive a passbook for your day’s walk.
If you like to walk in a group, that’s fine.
ALL members of your group are only required to complete their individual entry form.
Can I do just a section of the walk?
You can walk just one section or up to eight sections, which is the return trip.
Can I enter on race morning?
Yes, there are no pre-registration requirements available
Will there be water available?
Please bring your own water, water will also be available for purchase at the Kincumber Hotel.
Will there be toilets?
Yes, there are toilets along the walkway at the kid’s playground, Kincumber Hotel and McDonalds
Can I bring a pram along to the walk event and participate?
Yes, it is possible to bring a pram for the walk. Please be also aware that the path is narrow with uneven edges in places so care must be taken around the course. The walking track will be used both ways by other walkers and cycles.
How fit do I have to be?
If you haven’t exercised for a while you should see your doctor before undertaking training for the event. If you can walk at a moderate pace for at least half an hour you should be able to complete the 2km event quite comfortably at walking pace.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs will be allowed for the walk as long as they are on a leash.
Can I ride my bike?
The foreshore walking path is also a cycleway, but the Rotary Club of Kincumber’s ‘Four Villages Walk’ does not include entrants riding bikes, due to safety, as there will be more people than normal using the walking facilities.
How will I know what distance I have walked?
We have measured the distance between each stamping tables and the distance will be placed on your certificate when you have completed the walk.
How will I receive the stamps into my passbook?
When you complete each section, present you passbook to a member on the registration table.
Who does the money go to?
All donations received will be given to community charities.
Who is running the event?
The event is being organised by the ‘Rotary Club of Kincumber’
Can I make a donation to the Rotary projects on the day?
There will be donation tins at the walk on the day. Alternately you can give a donation at the registration table after the sign in period, only if you choose to.
What are the age restrictions?
There are no age restrictions but you will need to have a certain level of fitness. It is suggested that between 7-75 is a reasonable age limit. There will also be a free entry for the young children in a pram/stroller that are not walking.
Will there be food/drink for sale?
Yes, there will be a sausage sizzle operating during the morning.

The walk is located at ‘The Kincumber Broadwater’ foreshore.
